Stylised St George Cross overlaid with the iconic Sutton Hoo helmet. This is the war helmet of the mighty King Raedwald, one of the very earliest “Bretwaldas” or Overlords of all the English people. Additional wording is "Tribal Wear" and "Englisc Since 449". The date 449 refers to the traditional landing date of Hengist and Horsa, and the first arrival of the Englisc on these shores. From this date the English nation was soon to follow.
