Another take on the classic college style sweatshirt design. The word "Englisc", emblazoned unashamedly across the chest pays homage to Old English tradition (Englisc being the Old English word for English) and along with the White Dragon - the ancient symbol of the Anglo-Saxons creates a strong statement of identity. As for Established 449 - this refers to the traditional landing date of Hengist and Horsa, and the first arrival of the Englisc on these shores. It is said they first arrived with their warriors in three ships. In the following years many warriors and settlers crossed the sea and settled lowland Britain from East to West, laying the foundation stones of the English nation and the country of England - our homeland in which we now live.
